Affiliate marketing 101
If you have a website, blog, or an email address, you can be an affiliate marketer. Affiliate marketing is a simple way to make money on the internet. All you have to do is find a product or service you want to sell and sign up for their affiliate program. From there you place text ads or image banners on your website, blog, or include one in emails you send and when people buy the product or use the service you get a percentage of the sale. These commissions range from 5% to $500 and up, per sale. The earnings are limitless! The easiest way to get started is to join a site like Commission Junction or Linkshare. Nice list of affiliate programs, LinkShare, ShareAsale and CJ are my favourites. nice design on your blog btw I’m defiantly coming back.
Great resources you provided; you missed out on alot though such as the most popular affiliate programs ( Clickbank, NBA etc. )

Great blog, and an interesting post. I personallky would not recommend those particluar affiliate programs, as they are low conversion and low commission.
I tend to stick to 50 to 75% commissions products, and I also love the casinos as they pay every month based on how much the person you refer deposits, and they are attached to your account for life.
I have specialized in casinos, as they are the highest paying of all affiliate systems.
I have 10 years in affiliate marketing, and could go on forever here, but we just don’t have the room!

Yes, affiliate programs are great way how to monetize your weblog or website. If you join some in-house affiliate program you can earn even more than with PPC because all the budget for the acquiring the customer is paid to the affiliate and nothing gets to third party companies.
Affiliate marketing is in my opinion the best way to monetize your blog, adsense a close second.
