Can a dead pixel be raised on the monitor. Mine seems to be on top of the screen. I cleaned it but it reappeared, almost like a little bug but it clearly is not a bug. Have you ever heard of this?

One of the most expensive parts of your TV is the LCD screen. LCD’s are highly sensitive and any amount of pressure, touching or handling may damage it. The best way to clean the dead pixels is to use a soft cotton cloth – no rags or paper towel as they can scratch your screen easily. Moisten the cloth with plain old water and wipe the screen gently.
