  • Windows Live Writer – OMG, if you are a blogger and you aren’t using this, you have no idea what you are missing! And it’s FREE!! With plugins to customize further, I don’t know how I ever blogged without Live Writer.
  • Tumblr – tumblr.com explains it best by saying if blogs were journals, tumblr would be a scrapbook… Tumblr is a great way to easily post pictures, thoughts, websites, videos, and more to the internet.
  • Launchy – this is a great all-around tool, not just for blogging. Launchy provides the ability to launch programs from a few keystrokes rather than sorting through your start menu or having a desktop full of icons.
